‘Georgie & Julian’ formed after connecting over a shared passion for music in 2019. With their differing experiences in the industry and undeniable stage chemistry, this pair make for one of Melbourne’s most engaging and dynamic duos. Individually bringing a unique musical aesthetic to their performances from merging different influences and genres, Georgie & Julian come together to captivate their audiences. Combining their talents, Georgie & Julian offer up a range of entertainment packages including Acoustic Duo, DJ and Vocalist and finally a DJ, Vocalist + Live multi-instrumental setup with Julian’s extensive skill set and ability to play an array of instruments simultaneously. When they aren’t performing as a duo, Georgie and Julian are often found writing and recording music in the studio together, collaborating with other musicians and working on their own artist projects.
Georgie
Inspired by R&B, Soul, Jazz and Pop influences, Georgie grew up listening to a mixture of icons Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Dido, Kylie Minogue and Joss Stone which attributed to her unique writing style and vocal talent. With a natural ability and eagerness to perform and create, Georgie broke into the industry at the age of 9, recording vocals for TVC soundtracks with multi-award winning composer/songwriter/producer duo, Daniel and Gideon Frankel. Having since paved her way performing as a vocalist on stage at some of Melbourne’s biggest music festivals, restaurants and bars, Georgie thrives on enthralling even the toughest of crowds by possessing warmth and emotion. Currently working on her debut artist project- set to be released in 2023-, Georgie has been collaborating with a handful of renowned producers and co-writers from around the globe.
Julian
Making his mark and busking on the streets of Melbourne at a very young age, Julian isn’t an unfamiliar name in the Melbourne music scene. He commands attention as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and performer. Growing up on a diet of R&B, Soul, Reggae, Funk and Jazz, Julian’s ability to create a fresh twist on Pop music, highlights his extraordinary talent. As a successful Jazz Drumming Graduate from Monash University, Julian’s drive and commitment for constant innovation never fails to bring the best to the table, captivating his listeners and industry peers. Julian has performed and produced with world-wide popular talent including the likes of: DeAndre Brackensick, Billy Davis, Janeva, JAYDEAN, KAIIT, Sophia Brown, Queen P, Soli Tesema, and Thando to name a few. Yet to drop his full debut album, Julian looks forward to sharing more of his music in 2023.
